Start small and keep evolving

NintendoReporters is about a good month operational and that means it’s time to look at how things are going. Be critical and look at what we do well and perhaps little less well.

Up to date news

It is always difficult when you’re a starting a new medium to receive news as quickly as possible and make it available to your audience. In that aspect we have to grow a decent piece and we know that all too well.

But understand, we have to build our name, show that we can report news in a fun way. That we can have interactions with our visitors and target audience etc. Everything has an effect. Whether it is about how we express ourselves on our own media, social media, or review anything.

Therefore, to answer one question that we have gotten ever since our existence; No, we are not all of sudden going to be the party that has the news direct ht of the press. Believe me, I wish we were already that party but that is simply a process and if you are just starting out you simply are not at that point yet.

We are by no means NintendoLife for example, a site which we still greatly enjoy ourselves, but we do  things our way and with a lot of passion.

The key is to stay busy and make sure it grows as awhole, the range of news will become faster, etc. In addition, we will soon introduce a “report news” option on our medium. Because sometimes also that can be of tremendous help.

We do NintendoReporters now alongside our normal day job and therefore it is sometimes more difficult to be fast in reporting news.

Please continue to support us and maybe we can free up more time in the future!

Unique news

Unique news is a little bit like up-to-date news as indicated above, we simply do not have those type of relationships built  just yet, so that we can offer this really through Nintendo Reporters.

That’s totally besides the things that we totally do from ourselves as is for instance the case with reviews, previews, guides, editorials, interviews, polls, etc. This is all 100% us.

In the future we hope to be able to grow so that we will have direct contact with gaming studios, developers, publishers, designers, art leads … you name it … and you can get in touch with even more fun and unique content through NintendoReporters.

But we’re not there yet … give it some time!

Feedback

For us all your feedback is greatly valued, more than most people can imagine. We see our medium and possibly take certain things for granted, simply because we are blind to what we do ‘wrong’.

Fortunately in the past month we have had direct interactions with different users on both the website and through our various social mediums. Thanks again for your input and comments. Without you as an audience we would never be able to grow on the other aspects as described above as fast as we would like.

Continue to reach out, we like to listen to what you have to say.

You’re just like us fans and that’s why we do what we do!

Conclusion

NintendoReporters in my own humble opinion is well on the way to become what I have in mind for it. But all of that can not be realised in a period of one single month. That would be nice but it is simply not realistic especially when you consider how big the gaming world is.

In terms of future, there are so many things we want and need to do. But we have a solid foundation that in regards to speed and SEO (search engine optimization) is doing well (if you would like to get more details on that feel free to contact us because that is perhaps a bit too technical for the website itself). With that in mind we ourselves only see good things coming in the future.

We are like the birth of a butterfly … let’s convert it into a gaming perspective; NintendoReporters is a nice cheeky Caterpie which is busy growing into a Metapod. But we are also looking at the phase where we can stretch our wings out just like a Butterfree!

Together with you our fellow fans, I’m sure we’ll get there.
