Since we are also working bit by bit to become a larger and larger Nintendo Community, we thought it would be good for everyone to stay up to date with what is going on in our community. For that reason we have created Global Comment Notifications.
What are Global Comment Notifications?
At the bottom right of every page, notifications of the last posted comments are shown on the NintendoReporters website with a given interval.
How do Global Comment Notifications work?
In brief; if someone makes a comment on NintendoReporters, this is saved as a notification. For subsequent visits, this is displayed as notification at the bottom right of the website (to both visitors and users)
That way you will never miss when people post comments on items, so that you know what is going on in the community. If you like, you can simply click on the notification and participate in the conversation!
Good to know; If you click on the cross in a Global Comment Notification then you naturally close that notification but you also ensure that Global Comment Notifications are no longer shown during your session.
Future option
We would love to hear from you if you would like to be able to set Global Comment Notifications at user level. We ourselves do not know if that is an added value, so let us know via the Feedback option.
