As Nintendo, Creatures Inc., and Game Freak, the owners of the Pokemon brand, have registered new trademarks for “Pokemon Wonder” and “Fusion Arts” (フュージョンアーツ) in Japan.

According to both trademarks, they were just registered (19 January 2021).Before you get too excited, however, it should be noted that the “Pokemon Wonder” trademark mainly applies to “Food, Beverage, Education, Food/Accommodation” – so it sounds like it could be some sort of edible product.

Meanwhile, the “Fusion Arts” trademark applies to “Games, toys and playthings”, which the Pokemon Trading Card Game (TCG) also falls under.

Still no Pokemon Platinum remakes … sadly.
