The company has now announced that a prequel to the game is in development for both iOS and Android devices. **Twinfinite** reports that the number of characters in battle has been increased to eight and also that the game will feature new additional characters.

At the time of writing it is unclear if this prequel will also be coming to the Nintendo Switch in any form or way (standalone or as (free or paid) DLC).
