To commemorate the Doom franchise’s 25th Anniversary, id Software and Bethesda have dubbed 2019 as “The Year of Doom”. As such, the companies plan to have a heavy Doom presence in this year’s Quakecon, which is being held from July 25th to July 28th.

As part of the celebration at Quakecon, id Software has promised “Doom-inspired activities, events, exclusives, developer panels, hands-on demos, new information about Doom Eternal, and a few surprises we aren’t quite ready to talk about.”
