[![Firmware updated to version 9.0.1](https://www.nintendoreporters.com/storage/files/firmware-updated-to-version-9.0.1.jpg "Firmware updated to version 9.0.1")](https://www.nintendoreporters.com/storage/files/firmware-updated-to-version-9.0.1.jpg)Nintendo has released an update for the Nintendo Switch‘s firmware. This brings the firmware to version 9.0.1.

## [](#stability-for-all)Stability for all

Unsurprisingly, this is nothing more than a small update that contains “general system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience”.

Nintendo also says in the official patch notes, that they “resolved an issue that may have triggered errors during game play” and “resolved an issue that may display an instruction to remove the Joy-Con during the initial setup of Nintendo Switch Lite”.

But I guess it is time to update again.
