Bandai Namco seems to have done a nice job with this one, but we’ll have to wait for the reviews to find out for sure. For the time being, enjoy twenty minutes of gameplay from Summer Game Fest.

Namco produced the first installment in the “Klonoa” 3D side-scrolling action game series in 1997.

The game follows the hero, Klonoa, as he embarks on an adventure to rescue the planet in a unique universe filled by a variety of interesting characters.

We are thrilled to announce the release of the “Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series,” a remastered product combining “Klonoa: Door to Phantomile” and “Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil” to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the original title in the series!

The game’s environment and gameplay mechanics have not altered, but the visuals have been improved. To make the games more accessible to first-time players, adjustable difficulty options have been included.

Playing this updated and enhanced “Klonoa” will take you on a nostalgic journey down memory lane.
