[![Panic Button Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus](https://www.nintendoreporters.com/storage/files/panic-button-wolfenstein-2-the-new-colossus.jpeg "Panic Button Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus")](https://www.nintendoreporters.com/storage/files/panic-button-wolfenstein-2-the-new-colossus.jpeg)Bethesda surprised everyone when they announced that next to Elder Scrolls V – Skyrim and DOOM they had other games in the short term planning for the Nintendo Switch.

Another major surprise was that one was Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus.

The game contains graphic violence and the Nintendo Switch is simply a lot less powerful than the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

## [](#porting)Porting

Porting is often not done by the publisher but by a go between party. This is also the case with Wolfenstein 2: The New Collosus. Panic Button provides the port of the game and that’s very good news.

They have in fact done the Nintendo Switch version of DOOM, which was very impressive, even though the game graphics where lot less than the other consoles. Even the guys from Digital Foundry [found this impressive](https://www.nintendoreporters.com/news/nintendo-switch/digital-foundry-bekijkt-doom-op-de-switch/).

The probability ensures that Wolfenstein 2 on the Nintendo Switch will be fine to play, but will have a lower resolution and less spectacular light and shadow effects. We suspect that the frame-rate also wil go to 30fps instead of 60fps.

But perhaps more than anything it is important that we regain a non typical Nintendo title. Nintendo Switch this just keeps on suprising!
