The DLC adds a mode, accessible via the title screen, that is called “New Game ~Maniax~”. In this mode, Dante replaces Devil Summoner 2’s Raidou Kuzunoha in cutscenes.

The title screen’s loop movie and logo also turn into “Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne Maniax”. Dante’s skill, “Son’s Oath”, also receives a new “Pierce effect” in the remaster.
