SEGA has announced that Team Sonic Racing has been postponed until 21 May 2019.
SEGA gives the reason for ‘streamlining the experience’. “With this extra time, SEGA and Sumo Digital will continue to perfect the title and improve the experience to ensure that Team Sonic Racing delivers the best possible gameplay,” the company says in a statement.
Furthermore, the company apologizes to the fans who were looking forward to the original appearance date this winter. Via Twitter, the company promises that fans will soon see a lot more of the game.
Hey guys! To make Team Sonic Racing the best game it can be, we’re giving the team extra time to work on it. Our new release date is May 21, 2019.
We know delays are no fun, but quality matters most. Thanks for your patience – we’ve got more to show you for TSR very soon!

Different aspect of Team Sonic Racing
Team Sonic Racing takes a different approach to racing. You are not only racing for yourself, but for a team of three. Nice concept of course, but how this will work out, we will only be able to assess next year.
