Super Smash Ultimate Dragon Quest Hero DLC Presentation

Following its announcement earlier this week, the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Dragon Quest Hero DLC Presentation went live yesterday.

Difference in style

Rather than an actual “live” presentation, the Dragon Quest Hero feature is a short 22 minute video that has been uploaded to Nintendo’s Youtube channels.

This is similar to what was done with Joker, the first DLC fighter for the game. Like Sakurai hinted at previously, the video is of him demoing the character for us in an semi-live style format.

Update 4.0 – live / Hero available

You can now update your copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to Version 4.0.0, as well as access the Dragon Quest Hero DLC if you have the Fighter’s Pass. You can check out the full patch notes below:

    • Note: A paid membership to the Nintendo Switch Online service is needed to use these features. Please also see “Notice about Online Play” for more details.

  • Several issues have been fixed to improve gameplay experience.
  • Compatibility Issues
    • The latest software version is required to enter Online mode.

2. Select Software Update, then either Via the Internet or Match Version with Local Users.
