We now know who will be the voice of Sonic in the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog film. However, it isn’t Roger Craig Smith as many would have expected.
Cast confirms
According to Variety, “Ben Schwartz has been tapped to voice the title character in Paramount Pictures’ Sonic the Hedgehog movie”. Schwartz will join a cast that includes James Marsden, Tika Sumpter and Jim Carrey. Thus also confirming the other people in the cast as we go!
It still strikes us a bit odd that we have not seen anything of a teaser or a first movie poster or such … or did we miss something when it comes to that? If so please by all means correct us!
The Sonic movie is set to premiere on November 15th, 2019.
