Nintendo has recently applied for a trademark for Indie World.
What is Indie World?
Indie World is Japan’s version of Nindies and is a presentation showing off the many types of independently developed video games on the Nintendo Switch. The trademark is for the company’s Indie World website which features numerous Nintendo Switch indie titles.
So sorry no big surprises under the hood in this one, but we think it’s better to clear the air on what Indie World entails before people start mixing things up.
