Perfectly Nintendo, which tracks the number of Nintendo Switch games released across the globe, has published an update on how many games have been released in each region up till now.
The numbers
As of January 26, 2019, 1788 Nintendo Switch games areĀ available worldwide. 388 were released in 2017, 1298 titles launched in 2018, and 102 have already been released in 2019.
In North America, there are currently 1626 games available for purchase, while in Europe, thereās 1616. Japan has the lowest number of games available ā 1009.
We are pretty sure that the number of NintendoĀ Switch games will continue to increase in the months ahead. Nevertheless, quality is more important than quantity, so moving forward we hope to see more quality titles on the Switch eShop.
Because let’s be honest not all of those mentioned 1788 games are great, there are some games that are just total screw ups among them. And let’s not start about some of the shovelware.
