A new update for Among Us, version 2022.8.23, has been sent out by Innersloth. Players can now get their hands on two new Food Cosmicubes and wear new cosmetics that make them look like snacks. Players can also change the map from the lobby, and there have been some small changes to the store and bugs have been fixed.

- Cosmicubes of food!
- Spend your beans and stars on new cosmetics with food themes. You’ll look like a real treat. You may look a little too tasty and be killed by a fake, but at least… uh… hm… Anyway, it’s now out there!
- Change the map without having to start over from the lobby. I’ve seen all of you say, “Wow, that took you a long time,” and yeah! Yes, it has! What do you plan to do to fight me? (Don’t fight with me, I’m weak and cry easily.)
- The store has a new featured page. A new way to show off Cosmicubes and other cosmetics that are new or interesting. These will be at the top of the store in their own section.
- Star purchases also have a new tab that looks shiny.
- Beans and Pods’ sound effects are now linked to the volume slider for sound effects. You can now control how loud your gains are!
- Other changes:
- Now, player icon cosmetics are shown in door logs.
- Changes to the store and its stock:
- You can now sort things in the store from newest to oldest and by what’s been bought.
- You can see which cosmetics and Cosmicubes you’ve already bought with this indicator.
- Added a banner for a limited time to the right cosmetics and Cosmicubes.
- Sanctions and changes to censorship:`
- Now, when you try to enter matchmaking, sanctions show up correctly instead of a general error.
- Links are now blocked in the right way.
- Links that have been blocked are now given warnings.
- The list of friends and accounts:
- Now, the Friends List shows up in alphabetical order
- Users are properly signed in if they have the right to link their accounts.
- Bug Fixes
- Some hat decorations needed small changes to look right.
- Some Airship Cosmetics now have new names.
- When scrolling through chat messages, cosmetics no longer go over the chat window.
- Implement Login flow on iOS and Google Play for users 13 and under. Users will be able to sign in with a Temporary Account
- When an impostor starts a sabotage action, Mira HQ’s Vitals for Scientists now show the message “Comms Sabotage.” Friends List: After changing the “Friend & Lobby Invites” option more than once, requests are now sent out correctly.
- Fixed sound effects for the task “Empty Garbage”
- Fixed SFX track playing on music track during decontamination task in The airplane
- Fixed the Twitch Glitch pet’s missing animation frame when its idle animation was chosen with a controller while the game was in progress.
- In-game bug reporting: This helps us Sloths and isn’t really something you need to worry about, but the game can now better log any errors, so we know more about bugs.
- Server Problems in Egypt – Fix for players in Egypt on all platforms for network and connectivity issues [Switch] – Fixed a problem where users might not be able to do several things if their joy-cons were attached or detached.
