Although Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream has only been available for a few days, it has already received a major 1.0.1 update. A new difficulty level, new picture frames and postures, a tie-in bonus with Blue Reflection: Second Light, and more await players.

- The most challenging difficulty level, “LEGEND,” has been introduced!
- Take on increasingly more powerful foes! In the new difficulty level “LEGEND,” enemies are significantly more powerful than previously. In this new difficulty level, use your upgraded Sophie and her buddies to put your might to the test.
- New picture poses and frames have been added!
- In the picture mode, new photo frames and poses have been introduced! With the enhanced Photo Mode, you may arrange the positions of each character, alter the time of day, choose a frame, filter, and the characters’ facial expressions to create your own unique images.

- Fixed an issue where the pickaxe’s fire effect was changed to “None” at Level 18.
- When the difficulty level is set to “CHARISMA” or above, you will be unable to proceed if you utilize the “beast flesh” gained after a combat as an ingredient during the crafting lesson.
- Some display difficulties have been resolved.
- Other small tweaks and bug fixes have been made.
On Nintendo Switch, Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream is now available.
