In BPM, everything you do and everything your enemies do depends on the beat of the music. Your enemies attack in a dance-like way while an epic rock opera plays in the background. BPM is based on old-school shooters from the 1990s. It moves quickly and has a steady beat. To get away from your opponents, you can double jump, dash, rocket jump, and bunny hop.
Your goal is to reach the end of dungeons that change every time you play by getting new weapons, skills, and items. These weapons and skills can completely change how you play, making each run through the game different.
You have to beat 7 bosses before you get to the last one. Each boss moves and attacks in a different way, and you have to learn how to use that to your advantage if you want to beat them. For some attacks, you have to jump over lava fields, dodge fast projectiles, or stand still for a beat.
