The news was shared by the game’s official Twitter account in a new year’s message to fans. It is not clear whether it is a new game in the series or alternatively a new IP.

Whatever it is going to be, it is bound to be released for the Nintendo Switch this time round, rather than the Nintendo 3DS, so it will be exciting to see what they have in store and how the game translates to that system.
