Yoyo Games has announced that from this summer a special Game Maker Studio for the Switch will appear. It is not an app for the Nintendo Switch itself, but a special version of the Game Maker engine.
This allows games in Game Maker Studio 2 to be created and ready for immediate release on the popular Nintendo Switch.
Easier to port Indies
According to Yoyo Games, this edition will contain all the features of the regular version, but this should ensure that porting for indies is even easier. The first game created with the engine is already known; this game was unveiled during Nintendo Direct and is nothing less than the cult classic Undertale.
