The January tournament for Mario Tennis Aces has begin. You will be able to unlock Luma as a playable character a month early, but that’s not all.

The UK Nintendo Versus Twitter account has revealed that you will be able to unlock Mario and Luigi’s classic overall outfits. The Mario one could earlier already be unlocked by participating in the pre-launch demo. But nice to see others can unlock it too.

In short the amount of updates, new content etc. for Mario Tennis Aces has been stellar. Nintendo is really taking care of the lasting appeal of even a ‘smaller’ title like this one. We hope that Nintendo can keep this up for all of their first party games, because that would be excellent to say the least.
