The game is developed by the Dutch Homebear Studios, an Indie duo consisting of Joshua van Kuilenburg (Netherlands) and You Miichi (Japan).
The game is a puzzle adventure game, but also has traits of a visual novella.
You follow the story of Nairi, a girl from the high class. She becomes acquainted with a scholar who is on the wrong track, unraveling the mystery surrounding Tower of Shirin. Noteworthy is the special cartoonesque artstyle that Homebear Studio has chosen, with hand-drawn characters, mostly animals with human characteristics.
NAIRI: Tower of Shirin is in development for Nintendo Switch.
