Dataminers found something interesting on Nintendo’s servers – an unreleased demo for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The demo, which was recently made public on the company’s eShop servers, was uploaded on January 30, 2018. It has a file size of 270.67MB and was updated to version 1.5.0.
Given the amount of time that passed since the demo was uploaded to the eShop servers, Nintendo could have, at the last minute, discarded plans to release a demo for players to try out the game.
Should Nintendo have gone this way?
Personally I don’t think the big first party titles need to have demos. You normally know what to expect out of these kind of titles.
I do wonder what part of the game you would get to experience though.
