The Nintendo Switch Online app is pretty average, but Nintendo updated it, and now players can finally send each other Friend Requests.

The bad thing about this is that you can only accept Friend Requests on your Nintendo Switch, which isn’t the best. We hope that the Nintendo Switch Online mobile app will eventually let you decide whether or not to accept a friend request. The new Nintendo Switch Online app also only works on devices with iOS 14 or later.
iOS 14 came out in 2020, and iOS 16 is expected to come out with the new iPhones in September 2022.
