Nintendo has announced via its official website that the scheduling of Nintendo Entertainment System and Super Nintendo games has changed.
No more monthly update
The Kyoto-based company says that the retro titles for Nintendo Switch Online members will no longer be released monthly and will instead be distributed at certain intervals.
What they didn’t specify exactly is when we can expect them, so it will be a case of wait and see.
It does kind of make sense as a large portion of the SNES library consists of third party titles with which licensing can be an issue for Nintendo.
