Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl have received a new version upgrade from the Pokemon Company.
The update takes the game up to Version 1.3.0 and adds a slew of new features, including a save data bonus for Pokemon Legends Arceus and full access to the Global Marvel Station for wonder trading.

- A Pokémon Legends: Arceus-related event has been added.
- When playing the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Pokémon Shining Pearl games on a Nintendo Switch system, users with save data from Pokémon Legends: Arceus that matches certain criteria may participate in a unique event to meet the Mythical Pokémon Arceus.
- GWS now has a network-trading capability.
- At the GWS in Jubilife City, you may now exchange Pokémon online.
- To trade Pokémon online, you’ll need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription (a premium service).
- Some bugs have been corrected for a more enjoyable gaming experience.
