Since June 2018, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have been teasing a secret feature that the Poke Ball Plus has.
This secret feature, unlocked by transferring your Pokemon from Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee into your Poke Ball Plus, has been quietly revealed by Nintendo.
Pokemon Go Plus
Whenever a Pokemon is inside the Poke Ball Plus, if you use the Poke Ball Plus in Pokemon GO Plus mode, you will automatically receive items from all PokeStops that you pass by in Pokemon GO. If there’s no Pokemon inside the Poke Ball Plus, the Poke Ball Plus will vibrate whenever you walk pass a PokeStop, and you will need to press the button to receive items from it.
All in all it’s a neat feature to have for Pokemon GO which is officially approved. There are other tools for Pokemon Go but the stance on those has always been, not officially supported.
