Later this month, Splatoon 2 will be receiving a major update that will bring the game to version 5.0.0. In the meantime, there’s a smaller update that Nintendo has just released.
Version 4.9.1
After you update, the game should be at version 4.9.1. As always, Nintendo put out some official patch notes, so we’ve included the full list of changes for you down below.
- The data for the Final Splatfest has been updated.
- Fixed an issue causing the player to appear in an unintended location after falling into water while performing a dodge roll with a Dualie weapon equipped.
Downloading the latest update will prevent matching with players at the Shoal that are using previous update data.
