Feedback on VR

While fun and all we all kinda feared that the VR would be OK at best … and it is OK at best;

Just a heads up- taper your expectations.

Just tried BotW in VR and while it certainly is neat and fun for a few minutes- right away I can see why the developers wouldn’t design the game to be played solely this way and why it’s more of a “throw your switch in and check out a scene then move on” kind of experience.

This was the lowest effort they could possibly put into the VR mode. There’s no way Nintendo’s developers aren’t aware of standard camera practices for VR. They did it right for Mario. It’s pretty strange they couldn’t take the time to move the camera pivot to the player’s face like every other third-person VR game ever.

So apparently the entirety of the Odyssey VR content is less than 10 minutes of gameplay lol.

Are just some of the comments regarding the VR functions.

First person mode … wait for it

But to end this item on a high note even if it is not directly VR yet or related to Nintendo Labo VR in such a way; The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild has a new Game Mode. First Person Mode is now a Reality in BOTW

This looks really really awesome we must say and we would hope Nintendo would look into this more then the Nintendo Labo VR.

Please note; this is a mod and we will not discuss how to get things done here. Mainly because it involves an emulator, which could be used for piracy. But note this is also possible on Nintendo Switch it seems with homebrew.
