News has emerged via Twitter which states that it won’t take Super Smash Bros fans too much time to unlock all the 74 fighters in the latest entry, Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
It should take most gamers a couple of hours to get their favourite fighter.
According to Nintendo, it will only take a few hours (give or take) to unlock all the characters and it happens very fast. I think people were worried it would take 20 hours to unlock Bowser for example but this is not the case.

But … that’s short?
Well, while it might seem short, Super Smash Bros Ultimate is large in so many ways. It only makes sense that the roster becomes available in a rather fast fashion.Characters will have specific events, matches, unlocks etc. themselves so it just makes sense really.
Nintendo confirmed there are over 700 spirits in Smash Ultimate. It's unknown how many will have Spirit Event Matches attached to them, but it is a lot.

With roughly 700 spirits (yep Nintendo gave a confirm on that) and a lot of others things, you will be playing Super Smash Bros Ultimate for a long long time.
