WayForward confirmed that the original Game Boy Colour Shantae and Shantae: Risky’s Revenge – Director’s Cut are headed to the Nintendo Switch.

Both games will be available to purchase both digitally and physically. Limited Run Games will be handling the physical editions. The original Game Boy Colour Shantae will be available to pre-order in September and Shantae: Risky’s Revenge – Director’s Cut is due digitally this fall with a physical version at a later date.
About Shantae
Shantae is a series of platform video games developed by WayForward Technologies, with the first title having originally been distributed by Capcom. The eponymous heroine of the series, a half-genie named Shantae, was created by Erin Bozon, while the games were created from this character by her husband Matt Bozon.
