The game unfolds in a grim world where Eastern European brutality meets retro-futuristic technology. In Cronos: The New Dawn, you’re drawn into a gripping tale that blurs the line between past and future.

In the past, you witness a world in the final throes of the Change, a cataclysmic event after which humanity was never the same. Meanwhile, every moment in the ruined wastelands of the future is a fight for survival against dangerous horrors that will test both your reflexes and your tactical mind.

You are a Traveler working for the enigmatic Collective, tasked with scouring the wastelands of the future for fissures in time that will transport you to 1980s Poland.

ADAPT OR PERISH

In an abandoned world where danger is ever-present, your survival depends on your ability to think strategically and plan ahead. The enemies you encounter are nightmarish beings born from the remnants of humanity. To defeat them, you’ll need to bring your full arsenal to bear.

You can manipulate temporary Anomalies to clear a path through deserted environments, and you’ll need to hunt for resources to replenish your limited ammo and supplies. Preparation is key. In combat, split-second decisions can mean the difference between life and death.

DON’T LET THEM MERGE

The creatures you kill don’t stay dead for long. Fallen enemies can be absorbed by others through a grotesque process called Convergence, becoming faster, tougher, and even deadlier.

The only way to stop them? Burn the bodies—and do it quickly—or you’ll be facing ever-evolving abominations that push your combat skills to the limit.

HARVESTER OF SOULS

Your mission is to track down key people from the past who perished in the ensuing apocalypse. By using your powerful Harvester, you can retrieve their Essences so they can accompany you into the future.

But be warned: these Essences have a profound impact on your journey.

The more you carry, the more spectral your suit becomes. Your prowess on the battlefield increases, but so do the whispers in your ear and the flickers in your vision—edging you toward the brink of madness.
