The enigmatic Marquis – owner and maestro of The Sexy Brutale casino mansion – appears to be missing from his own masked ball. In his absence, the party’s eccentric guests are being bumped off by the mansion’s staff in a range of bizarre and toe-curling ways. But when the clock strikes midnight, time rewinds and the grisly pantomime plays out again in exactly the same way…

As elderly priest Lafcadio Boone, you seem to be protected from some of the worst of the danger by a strange mask. It falls to you to explore the depths of the mansion, save the guests and uncover the terrible secrets at the dark heart of The Sexy Brutale…

Detective time

Everything in the mansion happens on a 12-hour loop, simultaneously: watch, spy and try to learn each guest’s secrets – without being spotted – so you can intervene at the right moment and save them from a ghastly fate! That gunshot heard across the mansion at 3:45? The bell that tolls after 6pm? What could they possibly mean? You’ll need to figure out where to go, and what to do at what time so you can carry out a heroic rescue. The madness won’t stop until you step in and prevent the dire turn of events from reoccurring!

Unmask new powers

Meet peculiar party guests such as Reginald Sixpence, a genius clockmaker and mechanic, Trinity Carrington, a world renowned blind sculptor, and Clay Rockridge, previously head of security at the Sexy Brutale casino. Save guests from danger to receive their masks, plus their strange powers, and harness these unique abilities to help you on your quest. Discern even the smallest of sounds thanks to Trinity’s Perfect Hearing (very helpful when eavesdropping) and use Reginald’s Clock Mastery to interact with the clocks around the mansion to turn back time!
