In the year 20XX, advanced robots are used to maintain public order. The Battle Colosseum, an arena where robots fight each other, becomes the stage for a disaster with global consequences. Nine siblings known as the Mighty Numbers, who have earned fame as the best fighters of their generation, become infected with a mysterious computer virus.
Most of the Mighty Numbers go rogue and, to make matters worse, they spread the virus to other robots. All of humanity’s hope now rests on the shoulders of Beck: the only member of the Mighty Numbers who hasn’t been affected by this cyberattack.
Although he’s younger and weaker than his mechanized siblings, Beck has a crucial ace up his sleeve. He makes up for his lack of brute strength by assuming alternate forms. Take on the eight other Mighty Numbers in any order you like. When you defeat a Mighty Number, you gain one of his or her attributes, which you can then use against the next opponent.
Thanks to Beck’s transformations, you have all the powers and abilities needed to fight your way through the twelve levels. In the game you’ll encounter cube-shaped robots called Xel. By absorbing them, Beck can assume new forms with new abilities.
Transform into a tank to roll over spikes, twist your body to dodge enemy attacks, and turn Beck’s limbs into powerful magnets to snatch enemy weapons. Want to do even cooler things? Use Xel to race through levels, strike with devastating combos, and blast every foe off the screen with a spectacular shockwave.
Put your skills to the test in the challenging New Game+, Boss Rush, and Online Race Battle (for two players) modes. You can also climb the international leaderboards. Certain missions can be played with a friend thanks to Beck’s partner, Call, who in turn can use various powers.
