Mario’s collection of headgear and special abilities keeps growing. In addition to classics like Tanooki Mario and Boomerang Mario, there are several new power-ups to discover. Grab a Super Bell to turn Mario into a wall-climbing, clawing cat; wear a Cannon Box to fire cannonballs; and pick up a Double Cherry to create a helpful clone—make your enemies see double!
This adventure isn’t just about Mario! Luigi, Princess Peach, and Toad are along for the ride, each with their own traits and abilities. Mario is an all-rounder, Luigi jumps the highest, Princess Peach can hover briefly in midair, and Toad runs the fastest. Choose your favorite character and use their unique qualities to scour every nook and cranny of the levels!
Up to four people can play together in the local multiplayer mode of SUPER MARIO 3D WORLD. Work together to clear a course, or see who racks up the highest score at the end of each level! A variety of controllers can be used, so pick whatever feels most comfortable.
Discover the many stamps hidden throughout the Sprixie Kingdom and use them to decorate your Miiverse posts from within the game. Try to collect them all!
