Head out with your team to map Mira, battle colossal monsters, and search for other survivors. When you have no other choice, dive into action-packed real-time combat. Use a combination of close-quarters tactics, long-range attacks, and special moves called Arts. Each character has their own skills and Arts, so pick party members who complement one another and work together!
With Skells—enormous mechanized exoskeletons that can transform—you can travel at high speed or defeat foes too large for conventional weapons. Skells can fly to locations your feet can’t reach, transform into vehicles to race across land and water, and deliver crushing blows to enemies that would otherwise overwhelm you.
Undertake missions to see the story unfold, strengthen bonds with your teammates, and meet new characters. Some missions task you with defeating a particular enemy, finding rare resources, or charting an unknown area. Which missions are available can depend on the time of day.
At the start of the game, you can create your own avatar by choosing a gender, face, body, skin tone, hairstyle, eyes, makeup, and voice. You have full control over how your hero looks and sounds. Use all the available options to create a character you can identify with before beginning your journey of discovery on Mira.
Join an online team* to share information about items, missions, and areas with other players, or take on four-player co-op missions. You can also recruit other players’ avatars and use them in single-player mode.
