Bloomberg published a new report regarding a potential new model for the Nintendo Switch, possibly the “Pro” model that was rumored for so long.
According to Bloomberg, individuals “familiar with the plan” claimed that Nintendo is planning to announce a new model of Switch later this year.
This new model will reportedly come equipped with a “7-inch, 720p-resolution OLED display” manufactured by Samsung, and will support “4K ultra-high definition graphics when paired with TV”.
No plans anytime soon …
But Nintendo’s President Shuntaro Furukawa said that the company was “not planning” to announce a new model of Switch “anytime soon”.
But with Sony and Microsoft having already launched their next generation of consoles, now seems like it would be as good of a time as any for Nintendo to release some sort of update. But keep it mind it has not been officially confirmed at all by Nintendo.
But I for one am all for it.
