Former Game Informer editor Imran Khan is stirring up the rumors regarding Sora for Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
Apparently it was said that Disney denied Nintendo the opportunity to use Sora in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. However this doesn’t seem to be the case as Khan went on the Kinda Funny Gamescast to speculate who he expects to see as the next big Super Smash Bros Ultimate character.
Mr Khan expects it to be either Sora from Kingdom Hearts or Master Chief from the Halo franchise;

But does that also mean?
Well, it is not out of the realm of possibilities now is it … but was there not a certain rule in effect for ‘outsider’ characters. In the past outside characters that where rumored always had the rule around them that they should at least have a game of them on Nintendo Switch.
With the very much expected Crash Bandicoot being next, that still holds true.
But if it where either Sora or Master Chief … it would not. Unless they tie that into a release of either Kingdom Hearts or Halo.
Imran is normally a well informed man (yeah pun intended here), so … it’s going to be quite an epic year of Nintendo Switch and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate it seems!
