[FACT] Steam World Dig 2 physical release?

Last year, Steam World Dig 2 for the Nintendo Switch was released and the title of Image & Form Games scored very well. Also yours truly was a fan since the beginning of the game. Also of the wonderful 100% completion cave!

The game was then only made available digitally, the collectors among us were not very happy about that. Us included as prefer physical games over digital.

Physical release coming

Yet it seems that this will change. The game has been in fact re-issued an age indicator and it what also is to be noted is the following change: the publisher of the game. This is because thats has become Rising Star Games and they are known to offer indie titles regularly as physical releases, and sometimes with nice extras.

They also have taken care of the Steam World Collection for the Wii U, so chances are very high that they are now going to make Steam World Dig 2 available as a physical release for the Nintendo Switch.
