Games Industry has released a list of the ten best-selling games in Europe so far in 2022, and of course, many of them are great. So far, the critically acclaimed Elden Ring has been the best-selling game of the year. It is on track to win the Game of the Year award from a number of gaming sites, but we will have to wait and see how the second half of 2022 goes.
Nintendo games in top 10 best-selling video games first half 2022
There are three Nintendo first-party games in the top ten. These are Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Nintendo Switch Sports. It’s important to note that Nintendo doesn’t usually share download numbers, so these are all physical games. In the first six months, a total of 76.1 million games were sold, which is 13.5% more than the same time in 2021.
