Nvidia, the company that makes the chips that power Nintendo Switch and their own console the Nvidia Shield, has announced something interesting.
In particulair they’ve done something with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on the Chinese Nvidia Shield.

Deep learning
The company recently pushed out an update which dramatically improved the game’s graphics. Nvidia claims this is all thanks to deep learning. Over 4400 textures have been improved after the introduction of the new update:

Well, if the Nvidia Shield can do this … come on Nintendo Switch.
If we can get optimized ports like this for on the go use, well I’m sold. Take my money …
But let’s wait on official word from Nintendo if this is something exclusive to the Nvidia Shield or not.
