Several major gaming events have either been cancelled or postponed due to concerns over the ongoing Corona virus situation.
EVO 2020 is going on as planned
In response to the wave of postponements, Evo founder and organizer Joey “Mr. Wizard” Cuellar announced on Twitter that there are “no plans” to postpone Evo 2020, which will go on as scheduled from July 31 to August 1.
There are no plans to cancel or postpone Evo 2020. See you in Vegas! #Evo2020

We assume this is because the event is still far enough away that it might not be affected, much like E3 but we will keep you posted on any developments that might occur.
To all going to EVO or any other convention for that matter, be sure to take your own precautions if the situation is worrying you.
