Famicom Mini for sale again in Japan

Famicom Mini for sale again in Japan

Japanese retailers are starting to refill the Nintendo Mini console stock at least in Japan. Last year, Nintendo promised that the NES Classic Edition / Famicom Mini would return in 2018. Since that announcement in September, however, we have not heard anything about the new load until now.

Retailers in Japan have started accepting orders for the Famicom Mini.

Rakuten and Bic Camera had the Mini console available on their sites for a period of 12 hours, with shipments that would take place within two days. So far these are the only two retailers that have started selling the Famicom Mini again.

The news may indicate that there will soon be a larger addition of the Famicom Mini. If that is true, in the West we may also be able to purchase the miniature version of the classic NES in no time. Would be nice for all people who missed the boat with the first batch!
