Bruno Danzel d’Aumont, Cyber Group Studios‘ vice president of international licensing and marketing, has said that the business has been working on a Final Fantasy 9 animated series, which will be exhibited at the Las Vegas Licensing Expo.
The animation is one of four that the business expects to release later this week.

The creation of the Final Fantasy 9 animated series, which is a collaboration between Cyber Group Studios and Square Enix, is still in its early stages. Fortunately, the Licensing Expo will be live broadcast online, so you’ll be able to see the reveal during the live stream. The Licensing Expo runs from Tuesday, May 24th through Thursday, May 26th.
[The Expo] will be an excellent chance for us to present our future plans with our licensees, agents, and new partners,” d’Aumont stated. “In addition, for the first time, our most recently created programs — Digital Girl, The McFire Family, Press Start!, and Final Fantasy IX — will be displayed.” These four new shows have great licensing appeal for a variety of age groups.
