This year’s Gamescom will be a hybrid event that will take place on-site in Cologne, Germany, and concurrently online for millions of fans across the globe. The tournament begins on August 24 and concludes on August 28. Gamescom 2022 is launching a new initiative called Gamescom Goes Green, which will make Gamescom the first climate-friendly gaming festival and one of the first big events to showcase such a complete idea.Â
