Nintendo has applied for a trademark for Let’s Go To The City, which as you know, is the name of the Wii version of Animal Crossing.

Animal Crossing – Let’s Go To The City also known as Animal Crossing – City Folk and was a huge success on Nintendo Wii when it launched way back in 2008.
The trademark is for purposes including ‘program for home videogame machine’.
So who knows … we might see a Nintendo Switch version of Animal Crossing – Let’s Go To The City being the Animal Crossing 2019 title.
