Limited Run Games announced that it would be holding yet another ‘Blowout Sale’ on January 2, 2023 at twelve o’clock in the afternoon Eastern Time (ET). This sale will contain unsold inventory of their previous titles. There will be certain Collector’s Edition versions of games available for purchase, including but not limited to Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game and others; but, supplies will be severely limited.
Blowout Sale
As it does every year, Limited Run Games made the announcement that it will be selling mystery boxes comprising previously released Nintendo Switch physical games. These boxes are available for purchase. You will soon be able to peruse the whole list of items that will be up for grabs during the sale right over here on this page.

The event will begin at 12 p.m. Eastern Time on January 2, 2023, and continue for a whole day. You will have the whole day to take advantage of this second opportunity to purchase some of the most popular Limited Run titles that we were able to unearth. However, you will want to there on time since there are only a very limited number of these leftovers and they will go very quickly.

SO WHAT DO WE GOT?
The inventory that is sold during our once-a-year Blowout Sale comes only from the most obscure parts of our storage facility. Because these are the remaining copies from the first print runs of these publications, once they are sold out there will be no more copies available.
The ever-popular BLIND BOX is making a comeback as part of the Blowout Sale, and it will be available in five delicious flavors this time around: Switch, PS4, PS5, Soundtrack, and PS4 SteelBook. These are the leftovers from some of the most unique and hard-to-find Limited Run releases, so you’ll want to break one open to see what you can find inside.

HOW LIMITED IS LIMITED?
It has a somewhat restricted scope. Our once-a-year Blowout Sale is supplied only with unsold inventory in very small amounts, and it is at an extraordinarily discounted price. We really do mean low. There are several games that have less than 100 copies available, with some having barely tens.
Remember that even if we have many remaining copies of a game or collector’s edition, THOUSANDS of other fans will be rushing to the site at the same moment. Even if we have many leftover copies of a game or collector’s edition. Make sure you get there early, have your credit card ready, and are ready to move quickly if you have your heart set on purchasing a copy of VA-11 HALL-A or a Scott Pilgrim K.O. Edition. Reviewing our purchasing advice might provide you with an additional boost.
TRAFFIC CONTROL HAS BEEN ACTIVATED!
Every year, the day of our Blowout sale is the busiest for our website, and we want to make sure that this surge of traffic is handled in a way that is both fair and efficient (and that it does not destroy our lovely digital abode). The traffic is easier to manage thanks to our virtual checkout queue, which also makes it possible for orders to be processed one at a time. This results in fewer processing problems and ensures that the person who picks a game and checks out first is the one who receives it. In an effort to level the playing field, we have also placed restrictions on several of our commodities that are in very great demand.
BUT WHEN DO THE ITEMS THAT ARE ON SALE SHIP?
The vast majority of our products will be sent as soon as possible from our warehouse. With the exception of the blind boxes, these goods are already in stock and ready to ship out since there was some excess inventory left over from their first print runs. Goods that have been selected for inclusion in blind boxes have been sent to be outfitted in our brand-new packaging, which means that there will be additional processing time required for these items. On the other hand, we anticipate that every one of them will have been sent by the end of the first quarter of 2023.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO ADD MY CURRENT PRE-ORDER TO MY SHOPPING CART?
This time around, we will not be accepting any new or active pre-orders throughout the duration of our Blowout Sale, which will last for a full twenty-four hours. We don’t want our consumers to have to wait around while we finish manufacturing something else just so they can play a game that’s already been released to the public. Don’t be concerned! You won’t be left out in the cold since pre-orders will be reinstated on the website the following day at 12 PM Eastern Time.
