Apple can’t get enough of Mario it seems. We say that because the Italian plumber has appeared a couple of times in adverts from the Cupertino firm.
This time (ok the commercials are a bit dated but we didn’t mention them before) he features in an advert for the new XS series of iPhones

The advert is titled “Growth Spurt” and the short one-minute clip shows food, objects, even pets growing in size – to help drive home the point Apple’s new device is a lot bigger than past models.
Mario’s inclusion in the commercial makes a lot of sense because he grows to epic size using a Mega Mushroom, which we did not actually see in the clip but well we know our Mario stuff.
