A long awaited feature is finally coming to Mario Kart Tour in the mobile game’s next update. Finally it will feature landscape mode.
Previously the game could only be played in portrait mode on mobile devices, which is not to everyone’s liking. Nintendo says that the landscape mode will include a brand new control layout as well.

About Mario Kart Tour
Mario Kart Tour is a mobile game in the Mario Kart series. First announced during a financial briefing on January 31, 2018, it is the third Mario mobile game overall, following Super Mario Run and Dr. Mario World, the ninth main installment in the Mario Kart series.
The game features biweekly, downloadable themed tours with different cups, each of which has three courses and a bonus challenge. In addition to courses which already appeared in Mario Kart series, Mario Kart Tour includes courses located in cities in the real world (e.g. New York, Tokyo, Paris, London, Vancouver).
