Moon Studios – Ori was our Mario, this is our Zelda

Moon Studios, the amazing company that was responsible for both Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps, has said that they have been hard at work on their next game. Moon Studios is now working on Ori and the Will of the Wisps.

Next game is our Zelda

Moon Studios reportedly began development on the new game’s prototype in 2015, according to Thomas Mahler, the head of the firm. Ori served as our “Mario,” and this adventure will serve as our “Zelda.” When I initially began working on the prototype for our brand new project in 2015, that was the first thing that came to my mind. After that, we decided to work on Wisps, which gave us the opportunity to continue developing this project over a longer period of time, ultimately allowing us to transform it into a full-fledged action role-playing game (ARPG).

When exactly Moon Studios intends to present their newest work is not quite apparent at this time. The video games Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps are both now available for purchase on the Nintendo eShop.

About Moon Studios

Thomas Mahler, a former Cinematic Artist at Blizzard Entertainment, and Gennadiy Korol established Moon Studios in 2010 as an independent video game production firm. Gennadiy Korol is now the CEO of Moon Studios (former Senior Graphics Engineer at Animation Lab). The firm takes great pleasure in the excessively “iterative polish” process that is used in the development of its goods and has a primary emphasis on highly tuned gaming mechanics. Moon Studios is a dispersed production studio, which means that its team members are located in different parts of the globe. This provides Moon with the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most skilled and experienced individuals in the video game business. Moon Studios and Microsoft formed a collaboration in 2011 to create the video game Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
