Even more MK news; Earlier Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema announced a new Mortal Kombat reboot film set for release somewhere in 2021.
Warner Bros. recently revealed that the film will be releasing a bit earlier than its original March release date, and is now slated to come out on January 15 2021. While no reason was given, hopefully it is a sign that production is proceeding more smoothly than expected.
Filming is done
Filming began on September 16, 2019 and production is taking place at Adelaide Studios and other locations in South Australia. According to various sources filming wrapped on December 13, 2019.
That gives them quite some time to edit and promote the movie before it’s January 2021 release in theaters.
